Cyberport's annual flagship event, Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum 2026, opens today. Themed "The Dreamatic Circus", this year's forum explores new opportunities for the development of cultural and creative industries brought by AI and immersive technologies. |
Officiated by Prof. Sun Dong,
Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of HKSAR, and Simon Chan,
Chairman of Cyberport, the forum gathers over 60 global industry leaders, tech
innovators, and investors from giant tech firms—including NVIDIA, Dell, Huawei
Cloud, BytePlus, and Tencent.
"Agentic AI is transforming
the creative industry—not as a replacement for human imagination, but as a
collaborative partner that helps creators deliver their dreams more
boldly," noted Prof. Sun Dong during his opening address.
Key highlights and strategic
initiatives unveiled at the forum include:
Interactive Experiential Zones:
Featuring four dedicated hubs—Digital Entertainment, Culture and Arts, Smart
Living and Business, and Robotics & Drones— showcasing over 35 tech
demonstrations, including AI-driven fashion, combat robotics, and interactive
art.
Infrastructure Upgrades: The launch
of Cyberport 5 and the AI Supercomputing Centre provides a world-class
framework for high-performance computing, commercialization, and industry-wide
collaboration.
Strategic Partnerships: Cyberport
finalized three MoUs with Alibaba Cloud (AI-Builder Program), The Hong Kong
Academy for Performing Arts (Art Tech Immersive Studio), and Hong Kong Shue Yan
University to nurture tech talent and accelerate research.
With dynamic side events ranging
from eVTOL trial flight showcases to inclusive e-sports and gamified "Play
to Earn" experiences, DELF 2026 reinforces Hong Kong’s position as a
