JAKARTA – Global professional services firm Aon plc has officially appointed Stephen as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aon Indonesia, effective 3 August 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Based in Jakarta, Stephen will oversee Aon's operations in Indonesia across its Commercial Risk, Health, Talent, and Wealth businesses. He will be responsible for executing the company's growth strategy, enhancing client service excellence, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Jane Drummond, Aon's Chief Commercial Officer for Asia Pacific and Interim Head of Southeast Asia, said Stephen brings extensive market knowledge, proven leadership, and a strong track record of building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable business results.

"Stephen's experience and leadership will strengthen Aon's strategy in Indonesia while helping our clients navigate an increasingly complex and evolving risk landscape," Drummond said.

Stephen brings more than 20 years of experience in insurance, underwriting, and pricing across Asia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Aon, he served as Chief Underwriting Officer at Zurich Indonesia, leading a broad portfolio of conventional and takaful insurance businesses.

Stephen said Indonesia offers significant growth opportunities as demand continues to rise for risk management, workforce, and human capital solutions. He expressed his commitment to working closely with colleagues across Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region to deepen client relationships and deliver Aon's integrated capabilities.
